Global Amateur Tour Brazil finishes with a BANG!

Updated: Sep 3

Last weekend, our Global Amateur Tour Brazil riders took to the arena for their final round.

Run in conjunction with the Longines São Paulo CSI-W 5*, this was the first taste of international exposure for many of these riders, and what an atmosphere to have it in!

First out was amateur rider Kylie Ross (New Zealand), who jumped another stunning clear, showing her class with her borrowed horse “Big Ben”.

Ellie Flower (Australia), Isabella von Seefried (Switzerland), Vania Mason (New Zealand), Harley McNaughton (Australia), Grace Prendergast (New Zealand), and Regan Collins (New Zealand) each had an unlucky rail on track to finish out of the placings, but all showed great sportsmanship and proved they are riders to watch out for in the future.

The day belonged to Ruby Bryant (Australia) who rode a slick round to finish 4th in the final and 3rd place overall in the championship.

Ruby and Kylie also rode off with Best Foreign Junior and Amateur Rider respectively to wrap up an extremely successful final leg for GAT 2024.

Training riders Claudia Grant, Randi Ader and Amelia Wilshier benefited hugely from their daily training, seminars and pre-indoor training show, making massive improvements throughout the week. This was the first time GAT has offered training spots on a competition tour and these riders made the most of it, soaking in the incredible atmosphere of South America’s biggest and most prestigious indoor competition.

Gat Brazil remains one of our pinnacle competition tours and would not be possible without the incredible support from our hosts, horse owners and show organisers.

If you would like to be a part of GAT Brazil 2025 we are already accepting applications.
