Day 2 of the GAT France saw our tour visit the stunning Versailles Palace and home of the upcoming 2024 Olympic Games for Equestrian. It’s going to be a spectacular venue that’s for sure!
Day 3 for our France GAT riders was spent a full day training at the stables. Training consisted of:
1) Gymnastic and grid work
2) Riding related lines and roll back turns
The riders have shown great improvement and are adapting well to riding so many horses.

Day 4 here in France was super exciting for our riders! We started the day with a visit to French Olympic rider Eric Navet’s stable where we also got to meet top American Showjumper Karl Cook who is based and trains with Eric.
We then headed to Giverny to see Monet’s gardens before heading back to the stables for course riding and to put into practice what the riders have learned so far.
And if you think the day couldn’t get any more exciting, tour chef d’equipe and Grand Prix Showjumper Jaime Campbell rounded out the day with a young horse jumping demonstration on the super talented 6yo mare “Imprévue”, followed by a beautiful dinner out by the river.
Applications for France 2025 are now open
