About Sport Horse

Sport Horse is dedicated to the movers, the shakers, and the Olympic dreammakers. From dressage divas and divos to happy hackers, they even cater to hobby horse riders. Whether it's the gater, the whipper-in, or the King or Queen of the Hunter ring, Sport Horse sees them all.

Sport Horse supports those who live for the speed of a jumpoff, and those who painstakingly select “bling” to match their best friend’s coat color. They understand the "I'm not fat, I'm curvy" first-ridden ponies, the hairy hunters, and the stylish showies—because they've been there too.

For over 10 years, Sport Horse has supported the equestrian sports industry through competition sponsorship. As they expand into a new range of products, they are committed to ensuring that up to 10% of their profits are reinvested into the community by supporting local and national groups and competitions. Customers can feel confident that by choosing Sport Horse, they are helping to make someone’s big dream come true.

About Lucy Olphert Show Jumping

At just five years old, Lucy sat in the saddle for the first time and began dreaming of where a love for horses could lead. Watching her childhood hero Blyth Tait and his courageous mount, Ready Teddy, ride to gold in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics cemented her own dream of one day competing on the world stage.

Only six years later, Lucy qualified for the Under 14 World Finals in Brazil. Riding a borrowed horse, she won one of the major classes and finished 16th overall. This dream was now a vivid reality.

Since then, Lucy has teamed up with, competed against, and been mentored by some of the greatest show jumpers around the globe. A 7-time New Zealand representative for showjumping, her career highlights include winning the 2016 Hyundai Derby, jumping her first World Cup in 2017, and winning the 2019 $100,000 Visa MX Classic in Mexico.

Over the past 12 years, Lucy has grown her own business and developed her team of horses, from green-broke to World Cup level. She returns to Europe annually, bringing the latest resources and knowledge to the table.

Understanding firsthand the challenges of breaking onto the world stage, Lucy co-founded the Global Amateur Tour in 2018, creating international showjumping opportunities for children, juniors, and amateurs worldwide
